I had a great experience at New Wave Dental of Raleigh. The office was very clean, and the staff were cheerful and welcoming. I initially went in for an emergency visit, and they were able to take my X-rays, do the exam, and provide treatment all on the same day. Dr. Mohamed was very professional and skilled. I barely felt the injection, and the procedure was done quickly and efficiently. I went back later for a cleaning, and the hygienist was super nice and very thorough. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this office!

Whoever New Wave Dental has assigned to take x rays did not seem to understand how to operate the machinery. It was unclear if they were qualified or trained to take dental x rays based on how many attempts it took to get photos and how they navigated the equipment. Additionally, I scheduled a new patient appt for a standard checkup + semi annual cleaning and the hygienist was unavailable to begin for almost 2 hours after my appointment time. It isn't reasonable to expect a patient to budget ~3 hours for the most basic dental appointment possible. If this was not an outlier, timing expectations and delays should be proactively communicated. Unfortunately this practice is highly disorganized and dysfunctional. The dentist himself was very reasonable but the rest of the operation, process, and staff need significant improvement and and training before I'd consider returning or recommending it to anyone else.

I had a fear of the dentist for a few years before going back, but this place has done a great job at making me feel comfortable! My past 2 visits (wisdom tooth extraction + cleaning) went incredibly smoothly and the staff is very polite & non-judgmental. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for dental work in the Raleigh area.

I had an incredible experience at New Wave Dental in Raleigh. Dr. Omar and his entire staff are absolute professionals who genuinely care about their patients.From the moment I walked in, the front desk team made me feel welcome and comfortable. The office is modern, clean, and has a great energy. Dr. Omar is fantastic—he takes his time to explain everything clearly, answers all questions, and ensures you are completely at ease during procedures. His dental assistants and hygienists are equally gentle, thorough, and kind.If you are looking for a top-tier dentist in the Raleigh area, look no further than Dr. Omar at New Wave Dental. I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends and family!

I really appreciated the professional services from the staff at New Wave Dental during a recent visit. Dr. Mohamed took the time to clearly explain my dental health in a way that was easy to understand. Waad was also wonderful - she was very friendly, got my x-rays quickly, and walked me through each step of the process. Plus, the staff have created a cozy and clean atmosphere. It was a great experience overall.
